Lester Devin Reed is a protagonist/antagonist in Lives. TL;DR: Telekinesis obsessed ex-convict with too many mood swings, hates the organization he was born into, stubborn and rebellious but does have good in him.

-American refugee, has lived in England for more than half his life, mostly raised by a Welsh guy who he hates
(he's not parentless btw he actually has decent parents it's a long story)
-Magic is Telekinesis (primary) and Emotional Manipulation (secondary) tries so hard not to use the latter
-Lives a crime lifestyle, commits mostly petty crime, went to prison for a major one, chilled out after prison
(he was 18 when he went to prison and 23 when released.)
-Has intense mood swings a lot, usually uses coloring books to chill, also loves music
-Born into a cult-like organization and hates them... I wonder what he does about that
-Obsessed with magic training for clout but he's a bit infamous in his city

 Sasha | Close Friends -Sasha's dad (Cecil) was Lester's legal guardian for a couple years but had also raised Lester most his life -These two somewhat grew up together since Sasha often visited dad (of course) -Lester and Sasha took care of each other a lot when they were younger -Sasha visited Lester in prison but annoyed Lester enough that he kinda just. denied Sasha's visitation requests -After Lester was released from prison, the two began living together -They have their ups and downs. Greatly. One moment, Lester would kill for Sasha and the next, he'd want to kill Sasha. |
 Keagan | Ex-Friends -Met in primary school and quickly became friends -Were close friends until things started getting rocky in their teens -Lester often used his magic to manipulate Keagan (tbf, he was using it to make Keagan feel better) -The two were partners in crime but Lester dragged Keagan down with him... supposedly -As adults they now hate each other but can't seem to stay away from one another since they are pretty much stalking each other 23/6 -Kinda have a turf war in the city lowkey :sob: |
 Rylan | Friends...? -Met each other thanks to Keagan -Never got along because Rylan hated the way Lester treated Keagan -Have more in common than Rylan wants to accept -Lester genuinely wants to get to know Rylan -Eventually as adults Rylan is okayish around Lester -That's cus post-prison Lester lands a position at one of the jobs Rylan works and that's how Rylan kinda realizes "Oh he's not that bad I guess" |
 Callum | Acquaintances -These two met randomly once or twice -It was an awkward interaction as Cal never heard good things about Lester -Turns out Lester helped Cal with... a very big something once... before all the drama kicked off so they had kinda met before |
